100 years ago events took place that have shaken Human Culture severely and there is no doubt we are are at a cross roads now.
Since the 1st World War the traditional concepts of Nations and Culture have been in a unprecedented State of Flux plus Technology and Capitalism have
Poured accelerant on to the burning fire of Human desires for Security and Status.
New Zealand is not exempt either, in order to keep up with the rest of the World economically we have had to discard Socialism and bring in imported Labour to exploit
And have had to become economic bedfellows with alien cultures like the Peoples Republic of China a Nation that shares little in the way of communal values with this Nation.
New Zealand is not really addressing the Issue of where all of this will end beyond a four year cycle.
Personally I feel the Planet is facing down a great Struggle right out of Hollywood the Dark Side vs The Better Angels of our Nature.
Humanity will have to collectively pick a destiny for everyone every ware which would be Like Modern Sweden on one side and Nazi Germany on the other.
I sincerely Hope there is room for regional Culture and National Identity other than sports teams. I would be sad if we all turned into Human versions of Robots,
Permanent Model Citizens of the Military Industrial Complex until we ware out... Hey that’s Now!
To be fair to the UKIP this Mad situation started when The British Empire Seeded All it’s Moral Leadership to the Voters of the United States.
