Earth Politics vs Beeblebrox

Posted 1st August 2018 to the New York Times public opinion page.

If I could be so bold I would like to suggest a problem with the US Political system that could be fixed.

A the writer Douglas Adams once said, Anyone capable of becoming president through the political system should on no account be allowed to do the job.

Maybe he had a point in his jest.  With a nation as diverse and massive as the United States perhaps the leader should be head hunted by the people and not a party...

If so I would like to head hunt Ray Maybus the Secertary of the Navy who literally knows how to run a tight ship!

You know he need not be president, maybe he could get the job of the peoples Governor General because we seem to need one.

We should all remember that Government is suppose to be about service to the people and the US PRESIDENT kind of has to look out for all humanity and humanity HAS to approve or eventually someone else will take that job.
