Thanks John Campbell and Nigel Latta for using TV to engage political Discussion Their “Whats next 2037” series echos the 2002 “What if 2050” about our future
One thing is Clear New Zealander want to be flexible and use thinking to be prepared for future problems and the need to shift away from corporate gangster style politics
And more towards social responsibility.

One tool mentioned has been the replacement of the kack-handed cumbersome disheartening benefit system to a Universal Basic income for people who struggle with our free market burdens.

I might add our State might want to get back to being our Insurance Broker and not so much a drill sergeant.

I asked Tim Shadbolt if Invercargill might Morph its Zero Fees learning Idea into a UBI trial run as someone brave has to take the first step but I think he has enough on his plate at the moment.

One thing Nigel and John didn’t ask is where are our Brave Leaders, our Supermen & Women... Paying our tax should be a celebration as we should feel like it is spent well to make us all comfortable happy
and secure. If the face of America’s war on the week, poor, voiceless and disempowered... In a Globalist World staunch Leaders are what we need most to keep us all safe.  And there are few Bernie Sanders’s left!

Clinton - Gore Highway in 2017

Dear ODT opinion:
Back in the day I suggested in this publication the concept of the Presidential Highway between Clinton and Gore to mark the Visit of President Bill Clinton to a Meeting here in Otago
But now it might be time to revisit the Waipahi presidential memorial and put up a new Electoral College memorial to the Lost Presidents Al Gore and Hillary Clinton which is more relevant
Today some “interp” panels  on the legacy they never had, perhaps reflect also on the tally of deaths and wars of this century that might never have happened had cooler heads prevailed.
Just a thought.

Donald Trump has a mortal weakness, that is his weak mind if you ask it the wrong question it will crash like a cheap worn out operating system

And there is one question he can not answer but will be compelled to.... Is overpopulation a Problem ? and how would you deal with it.

If this Question was delivered on twitter it would be a dooms day tweet one way or another for Donald J T

Really stupid people do not understand the Climate Change and Overpopulation have the same mother and there is only one way to fix the problem
Without being pure evil.

We should all be compelled to ask Trump even if we fear the answer or the reaction

It seems The New York Times has got that job...

The real BURN of Climate Change USA

I see there is some confusion about the term CLIMATE CHANGE in your public opinion forum. I feel I should point out that it was not a scientist who came up with this term 
It was the media trying to simplify a complex subject who coined GLOBAL WARMING and CLIMATE CHANGE. Once they even called it Global Cooling to the dismay of experts on the subject.

However Political GLOBAL WARMING is way more concrete concept caused by overpopulation bad Governments and climate events.  It is an issue at play in the US Elections as we speak.
This in Turn WILL cause political climate change.  These are the issues that make the Pentagon & the CIA nervous.  

The War in Syria was a direct result of displacement of a large population of disaffected people due to crop failure. This is compounded by lack of Women's reproductive rights causing a surplus's of
unwanted yet innocent people  who flood to the liberal West in search of a future, is really turning up the political temperature dial.

REALISTICALLY World Politics are not our problem to fix and to be blunt, Southland’s perspective on this debate is of little importance one way or the other.

As predicted Mr Donald Trump has managed to choke himself on his own words in his final debate, just as the numbers predicted
since before he even entered the race, the Republicans do not have the numbers to win the White House anymore.

To NZ and the rest of the World.
It looks like business as usual for now and Globalisation will be pushed to the next level. Something Mr Trump has very little chance of effecting no matter how things play out.
The Business World will boom again as before under the Clintons, just be aware that prosperity comes with a few side effects especially if it is un-even in application.

For the short term at least it looks good  but keep in mind that The American Political and Monetary system is a “Heath Robinson Contraption” and a President has to literally be a Miracle Worker to
get it all to hold together in some coherent form... And have super power just to get selected for the play offs.

If there is one problem all Humanity has to ponder this year how can “they” find one such person let alone two to choose from in this 4 yearly vote off cycle for what is now a Grand Global vision.

Hats off to Billionaire Robert Mercer who not only gamed the US Financial System with his unique mind but also it seems the Political System of the USA as well.
Mr Mercer has a unique gift that gives him mathematical insight far and above above mortal men. He is the Archimedes of the modern era.

For this, without doubt he should be on the cover of Time Magazine.

Myself I feel numbers in a different way, the Number of Happy People, The Number of Beautiful Places, The Number of Lovers, The Number of Creative Minds & Hands, the Number on Global Temperatures. That kind of thing.

Perhaps Bob & Rebekah feel these things too, and if they can find the numbers that unlocks Humanity itself... Please TRY not to game us.
