Just Took a couple of days off to visit Queenstown, Was stunned to see so much traffic and so many people after getting the Impression that Manapouri and Te Anau where all but abandoned for the winter.
I took the opportunity to ask a Queenstown Local what they felt about the Milford / Dart Tunnel,
Though basically a daft proposal he said he was surprised by the Te Anau Reaction and thought it was a bit cheeky of Te Anau to think they have exclusive rights to Milford Sound.
Sad to say but if we are playing by the rules of Capitalism Queenstown really holds all the cards!
